Robin Sharma once said:“Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end.”
ReflectionJanuary feels like a checkpoint. A moment of transition from one year into the next. We all hope the year ahead will be better. People look for rituals, symbols, and small acts of belief. This New Year’s Eve, I learned that eating twelve grapes in sixty seconds is said to bring good luck for the year ahead. Many people set resolutions. Sober January. Starting the gym. Reading more. Companies do the same. New plans, strategies, tactics, and goals, all driven by the hope that this year will outperform the last. Robin Sharma captures change well. Everyone wants improvement, but not everyone is willing to do what change requires. Progress demands discomfort, patience, and consistency. Let us be the people who choose change. Even more, let us support others while they are in the hard and messy parts. That is where real growth happens.
