Week 9. Lead by example
"The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion."-Paulo Coelho Lead by exampleHaving an opinion matters. It shows that you think for yourself. But having an opinion about everything, especially without action, creates noise more than impact. When was the last time you shared an idea, someone quickly gave their view, and when you asked for help nothing followed? It is easy to comment. It is easy to criticize. It is easy to explain what should be done. Doing something about it requires commitment. This quote reminds me that change comes from those who act. The difference between talkers and doers is not intelligence or talent. It is willingness to step forward. Recently, when someone shares a strong opinion with me, I invite them to take part in the solution. The response says everything. Those who truly care find a way to contribute. Examples speak louder than opinions. Tags
