Ey up PanPals! I've been busy cranking out videos the past few weeks. I'm trying to stick to a weekly schedule on YouTube so I can share the musical fun more consistently. So far I'm enjoying it! I've not been emailing each video as I didn't want to overwhelm your inbox. But now I'm wondering if this is too much stuff for one email...? I'd like to know what you'd prefer: an email whenever there's a new video to share, or a monthly digest? Let me know what you prefer via a quick email response so I can FULLFILL YOUR EVERY DESIRE (relating to how many emails I send you). New Videos!Gazpacho SoupThis song has been going round in my head for a few years so I decided to share the (relentless) joy with you!
TRACK SMASH: Sock LandI finally got around to doing the next TRACK SMASH, where I make a soundtrack in 90mins inspired by words suggested by YOU! (It's edited down to ~9mins) ;)
We're All Shy Skeletons InsideA spooky song I made on Halloween to celebrate the hidden beautiful skeletons within us all.
Ten TicklesA lo-fi loopstation song about octopuses (and the relentless pursuit of happiness at all costs...)
Patreon!I'm fired up to keep sharing musical fun with you as often as possible, so I have set up a Patreon where you can join my musical playground! Woohoo! If you're not familiar with Patreon it's a way to support creators by becoming a patron - giving a monthly contribution in exchange for extra goodies. If you enjoy the musical fun I make and want more you can become a patron from as little as £1 a month! I'm planning to build it as a playful space where we can collaborate on ideas for songs and musical challenges. I'll also be sharing downloads of every track I make, behind the scenes stuff, and more as I experiment over time. If there's anything else you'd like to see in there let me know :) Album ProgressI'm sooooo nearly there with this new album of ridiculous songs for kids (and silly adults)! I'm just getting stuck on the last hurdles of BORING FINISHING STUFF that isn't the actual fun part of making music for me. I think with Christmas coming up I'm gonna wait until next year to get the album out so I can take my time and make some videos for it etc. Thanks for your feedback on which name to release it under! It was incredibly helpful. I've decided to put it out as Simon Panrucker as it's in line with what I'm already doing and loads of you tell me your kids already love listening to my songs - it seems unnecessary to build a whole new name up from scratch! ANOTHER QUESTION! Do you still buy CDs of music you like? Gigs! The first Bristol Beacon Family Gigs were a blast and we got loads of great feeback from families who came. We'll be back on 20th December with a fresh selection of festive favourites to play for you and other wintery musical fun to be had! Tickets and info: https://bristolbeacon.org/whats-on/festive-family-gig/ Good Stuff! Here are some things I've enjoyed recently!
More Good Stuff in the archives... PHEW THAT'S A LOT OF STUFF!Too much? Let me know if weekly is better. And tell me, how are you? Have you seen or made anything cool recently you wanna share with me? Tata for now! Love
